Review of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006) by Amie M — 05 Sep 2009
This film gets one star for decent cinematography, the actual scenes were filmed very well. Other than that, it wasn't scary or that interesting of a story.
The remake from a few years before was very good, imo, so we gave this one a try. This was their chance to set up leatherface and family for the crazies that they are... they failed miserably. The truth is they are just a bunch of half-brained rednecks in Texas. No imagination or mystery to this story what so ever.
