I think that the remakes are by far way better than the original films by Tobe Hooper. The color of the film and the characters are believable in these films. The story line is way better than the original film.
Plus I could not stand the screeching music and sounds from Hooper's original film. R. Lee Ermy is the star of these flicks in my opinion, he makes an ever menacing and brutal villian!
