Review of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) by Skyler M — 23 Oct 2010
One obvious thing that stands out from this remake to the original is just how much more gory it is than creating an ambience that makes you uncomfortable to be in.
Overall the remake isn't terribly bad, the original is better when you put them up against each other, the fight for survival is much more intense here... in fact everything was made to be more intense than the original, which I guess they did it on purpose given that everyone knows about the original one and trying to take it a step further to make it better. In the end, it's just a movie that presents you a lot of high gore and energy. But still enjoyable somehow.
