Surprisingly well crafted re-imagining of the '74 classic. The filmmakers went an extra mile in recruiting the services of R. Lee Ermey (famous for his portrayal of the drill sergeant from hell in Full Metal Jacket).
Well choreographed attacks by various members of the original cannibalistic-hillbilly family and impressive visual effects and cinematography raise this well above most of the other remake/re-imagining fare that followed in the coming years.
