Review of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) by Kevin S — 24 Oct 2012
A remake of the 1974 movie that has four teenagers in Texas on their way to a Lynard skynyrd concert. On the way there they pick up a hitchhiker who seems terrified like she has been through something real bad.
Later they come upon a family of cannibals and have to escape to survive. I have not seen the original but would love the chance. I am Sure they made this one more gory than the original to upgrade or make it better.
However, being that I am not a big fan of remakes I did enjoy this movie. There are some really sick and disturbing parts and there was enough scares to make it a pretty good movie. And I thought Jessica Biel was perfect for the lead.
At least when they remade this movie they upgraded it and made it more scary than completely trashing it like they usually do.
