Review of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) by Bailey G — 16 Mar 2014
(Not to bad at all).
After taking some time to think about the Texas Chainsaw Massacre I've only seen this one and then The Beginning and Texas Chainsaw 3D and also the original. I've only been a fan of this film. I don't know why. I guess it's just because it's more realistic than the original. I love the special and visual effects. I critique films for fun. If I was a professional getting paid to review movies, I would be saying the exact same thing that I'm saying right now. I know the critics gave it a 38% and the audience total gave it a 58%. But for me I would give it an 80%. It truly isn't that bad of a movie if you look closely. If you do look closely you can see true art in the cinematography. Also great acting and costuming. The performances were good to.
This movie doesn't disappoint. Trust me. I'm a film buff. I know everything there is to know right here. I know everyone has their own opinion, and that's okay. But I truly believe that for once, this remake is better than the original (made by: Tobe Hooper in 1972).
Overall rating: 5 out of 5. Percentage: 80%.
