Review of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) by Russ V — 06 Oct 2014
The remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massive has both positive and negative things about it. The positive include some decent characters (excluding the sheriff), and good costume design for Leatherface. The negative includes no scares or tense moments, Leatherface taking off his mask and revealing his face (for the first time in the series), the movie going on longer than it needed too (10 or 15 minutes less would of been good), and the small changes in the story, while weren't necessarily bad, didn't do anything to improve upon the original or to set itself apart from the rest of the series.
Overall, not a terrible remake, but not a good one either.
