Review of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986) by Ryan D — 03 Oct 2007
The characters are way more annoying than the first movie. There are tons of stupid things that make up this movie, and the only good part is the scenery in the end (sort of). Here's some of the bad: They live in some strange universe where it's difficult to hang up a phone.
You might think, oh, phones were old back then, it's possible they work differently. Well, why does the bad guy have a phone in his car then. Isn't this before the time of mobile phones? In the movie, most of the walls are made of paper.
Forget cutting through them, just jump through. And apparently the victims don't realize this. And my goodness people have dumb nick names. The bad guys somehow managed to build an underground lair while they were running from the law from the first massacre.
This movie has a lot of people who don't die when they should. And the ending makes reference to the first movie but in a really stupid way.
