Review of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986) by Adam P — 28 Jun 2008
Because no horror film he could make, especially a sequel, would ever top the original 'The Texas Chain Saw Massacre'', Tobe Hooper wisely decides to take a fresh route, but he still keeps the crazy.
It ups the black comedy, thrills in the nasty gore, and feels a bit like a hillbilly funhouse ride. The performances are above par and it's all in good gruesome fun, if you can get into the spirit.
