Review of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986) by Liam U — 02 Jun 2009
Quite a strange sequel - very very different to the first. Dennis Hopper is good, and it's nice to see Jim Siedow return while Bill Moseley brings an infectious glee to his character. Caroline Williams was an odd choice for the leading lady, but she isn't terrible.
A couple of scenes drag on for far too long, and this film is utterly lacking in the atmosphere and brutal terror which made the first such a classic, but overall it's just a silly fun horror.
