Review of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986) by Bethany C — 27 Jun 2015
This was a horrific movie, but I honestly did not go into it expecting it to be a successful horror movie. That being said, it could have been hilarious, but instead it was an hour and a half and felt like it was three hours. It, obviously, lost a lot of the things that made the first move successful, and instead adds a weird metaphor for sex with a chainsaw and makes the villain into some twisted, Stockholm Syndrome girlfriend.
With this sort of plot, it should have been a comedic sequel, but it even failed as that. That being said, besides the unending feeling of the movie, it was enjoyable (sometimes) to watch and make fun of. That's the only reason It has as many stars as it does.
