Review of The Tesseract (2004) by Casey B — 07 Apr 2005
MOOD: Same as previous entry.
LISTENING TO: Five For Fighting - "Easy Tonight".
The Final Cut >> B+ >> Well-made gem with a good story. It's like if Eternal Sunshine was a thriller.
The Tesseract >> C+ >> Good direction and structure, if a bit obvious and pretentious at times. Story isn't extraordinary but the suspense keeps you interested.
Spanglish >> B >> Good dialogue and a nice turn for Adam Sandler whose character has depth. Good movie that is missing something that keeps it from being wonderful.
