Review of The Terminator (1984) by Kenneth B — 19 Nov 2012
One of the most iconic films of the 80's still packs a punch today. It is grittier than the sequels primarily due to it's budget more than anything else but rather than let this be a hindrance James Cameron uses this to his advantage.
Perhaps the limitations compelled his creativity because The Terminator is a tense, exciting and emotional journey which really did push the boundaries of what a sci fi-action film could do.
