Review of The Terminator (1984) by Andy L — 20 Apr 2013
I can remember going to see this film when it first did the rounds in England. The likes of Cameron and Schwarzenegger were not big names back then so this was been shown on the small screen at the local cinema (this was in the days before multiplex's) and I think there was a grand total of about 3 people watching that veiwing. I can remember coming out of it with my mind reeling. Hang on, if that's going to happen in the future then it has to be happening now. And if it is going to happen now then it would have to have happened in the past for it to happen now. But then in the future.........
I recall the film dissappearing, but the three of us that saw it that day, and possibly one or two others went on and on about it to everyone that would listen. And it came back around again, this time on the main screen. And the rest, they say, is history.
