Review of The Terminator (1984) by Aaron K — 15 Nov 2014
Science Fiction has received more than its fair share of genre-breakers over the years. War of the worlds, The Matrix, Star Wars, Alien, Blade Runner and The Thing took their turns at grasping ahold of Science Fiction and blowing audiences expectations out of the water.
The Terminator, is another of those glowing moments of cinema where everything changes. Its disturbingly violent, but driven and inspired by the human resilience that conveys through exceptional acting and expert direction.
The Terminator, a killing machine sent back in time to reshape the dark-future by assassinating the human resistance leader's mother, Sarah Connor. Action packed and full of peril, this thrilling tale of survival against an indestructable killer has a lot more depth than appears at first glance.
A timeless classic that inspired countless movies and STILL does, close to three decades later.
