This movie tries to charm in the cliched Spielberg way. But except for a few moments, this movie disappoints. Completely absurd and unbelievable, the story becomes more and more ridiculous as the movie progresses.
Hanks is also disappointing with a stereotypical and uneven performance. This Spielberg fairytale is one of his worst.
