Due to political reasons, eastern european dude (tom hanks) gets stuck in a NYC airport terminal. for months. first hour and a half were really good, just a fun little movie. always interesting when films try to pull off the whole thing in one setting, when that works I love it.
and this one did. but then...the final 30 minutes (pushing past the 2 hour mark? really?) were pretty much one ridiculous scene after another. if spielberg would have had a more subtle ending at 1.5 hrs, which would have kept more in tone with the movie, this would have been awesome.
hanks was really good.
