Review of The Terminal (2004) by Lucas S — 21 Mar 2010
While I was watching The Terminal I never wanted the flight to take off. The Terminal was one of the most enjoyable and entertaining movies I have seen in a long time. Even though it mostly took place in one location it was just one of the best movies of 2004 and maybe the best of 2004 in my opinion. Some might think it is over the top but I don't care this was just a great movie. It was really funny and also sad from following Tom Hanks.
The Terminal is directed by Steven Spielberg. I just love Steven Spielberg. Almost all of the movies that he directed were masterpieces. Of course this one was great too. He just knows how to direct the movie perfectly. He was great.
The performance from Tom Hanks in The Terminal was absolutely phenomenal. He was perfect for the part. I loved following his character, he was really funny an he had to talk funny. His story about his character's life was really very sad. When he likes Catherine Zeta Jones it warms your heart just the scenes when he is with they are heart touching scenes. Looking around on what is going on in his country which he stays in the airport and sort of lives there, because his country is in a crisis and he is confused and barely speaks english and becomes friends with the airport people, and he becomes a great part at that airport. It was very heart warming.
But overall this is a great movie and definitely a must see.
10 STARS!!!!!!!!
