Nice movie from Steven Spielberg that was overlooked by me. Very entertaining. Tom Hanks is a good actor. The supporting casts are good too. Tom Hanks arrives in JFK airport but his country went into war and he couldn't get a visa.

So he is forced to stay within the airport transit lounge. His tickets and passport is been kept. Barry Shabaka Henley is the security captain and Stanley Tucci is the commander. Tom stay in the wing under renovation.

Stanley is going to be promote to field commissioner but he have to pass the inspection. So during this period, he must ensure nothing goes wrong within the airport. Stanley wants Tom to leave and told him that the guards will change shift and the doors be open for 5 mins.

So he can catch him and deport him back. Tom realise the camera is watching him and decided to wait. Catherine Zeta-Jones an air stewardess slip and fell and Tom helps her. That's their first chance meeting.

The cleaner Kumar Pallana thinks that he is a spy and warns his other 2 pals Diego Luna and Chi McBride. Zoe Saldana is in the visa counter and Tom keeps trying his luck to submit the form for approval.

He finds out about getting quarters from returning the trolley and everyday he do that to get money for food at burger king. Stanley hires a new liaison guy for this task and stop his income. Diego find Tom and make a deal with him.

He want him to help ask questions from Zoe because he likes her. He will give him free food to eat everyday. Tom make it a daily mission and dig alot of info for Diego. Stanley ask him over and told him he can be free but he have to admit he is afraid to go back to his country and seek asylum in USA, off course he answer no.

Catherine quarrels with her boyfriend because he can't met her and spend time with his wife. Tom and Catherine start to chat and she ask him to go out for a dinner which he can't. He starts to find jobs for money so that he can have dinner date with her.

He can't get any job and he went back to do some DIY renovation on a section and the contractors are impress and hire him. Tom hangs out with his 3 friends playing cards at the baggage sector. On the inspection day, a russian guy gets agitated because his medicine wasn't allow to go through without proper forms from the canadaian hospital.

Stanley force to ask Tom to talk to him. The medicine is for his dad and Stanley just don't let it go through. The guy is nab and Tom quickly said the medicine is for goats. Stanley blows that day.

Tom's heroic deed is spread by Kumar and he is a hit with the staffs. Tom got a suit and date Catherine with the help of the 3 friends. Kumar told his story back in India he stab a police who extorted money from him everyday and if he goes back he will be jail for sure.

Tom and Catherine hit it off well and he will give her a present when she comes back. He intends to build a fountain for her. Diego ask Tom to help pass the wedding ring to Zoe. She agrees and married Diego.

Stanley told Catherine about Tom and ask about the mystery peanut can. It contains the autographs of a jazz band his late father likes. He is here to get the last autograph to fulfill his father's wish.

The next day, the war is over and Tom can return home. He wants to go NY but the form needs Stanley's signature. He is promoted and use the offences of his 3 friends to threaten Tom from going to NY.

Kumar goes to the airfield and delay Tom's flight. All the staffs support him to go NY, even the guards. Stanley is piss off but still just let him off. Tom finally gets the last autograph and returning home.

Too bad Catherine goes back to the jerk.
