Review of The Terminal (2004) by Bob L — 14 Dec 2011
A heartwarming comedy set under unusual circumstances. The film's message about how one man, no matter how "unacceptable" or insignificant can make a difference in the lives of the people around him.
Toms Hanks gives another memorable performance and as Mr. Navorski, while Stanley Tucci provides the perfect complement as the villain. In fact, the evolution of Tucci's character and his moral ambiguity towards Hanks' character is a driving force in the movie.
Additionally, Catherine Zeta-Jones is delightful as a morally distraught flight attendant. However, it is the entire supporting cast in "The Terminal", highlighted by the performance of Kumar Pallana as Gupta that makes this movie truly "take-off".
