Review of The Terminal (2004) by Neal B — 12 Aug 2012
Have seen many bad reviews about this movie and I think that people are taking it a little too seriously. I liked it. It looks to me like a simple story, but everybody else seems to think its not. They dock points for artistic things. I have no idea of the film industry inner workings or too much about writing, but the way I see it, this movie was simply a story about a man who was trapped between worlds and wanted to get to where he was going.
People take this film too seriously. He came to do something and he's not going to go back because someone tells him to. He used all of that time and now he's going back to where he came from? Right. As long as he's where he is, do what he came for. As for flaws in the story, who really cares? as long as there's a story.
My opinion means nothing, but at least I liked the film. It has my support.
