Review of The Terminal (2004) by Kerby H — 28 Apr 2014
Vaguely European Tom Hanks is stuck in between everything. Probably the most low key Spielberg movie I've ever seen. That doesn't make it slight though; the film has a level of invention and sweetness that has echoes of fairytale fantasy, yet keeps one foot firmly in the very real struggles of countries in turmoil.
An underrated Spielberg movie if one could exist.
