Review of The Tenant (1976) by Shounak B — 05 Feb 2013
This one is closest to my heart in the whole apartment trilogy. Bit indulging at times, but Polanski the director's acting about character transition overshadowed them. like other of him, this one also takes time to build up the atmosphere, after that it's a treat to watch.
the interesting part is this one doesnt give any explanation of polanski's character and thus leaves a lot space for mental masturbation.
