Review of The Tenant (1976) by Tans D — 28 Jun 2009
The third and final part of Roman Polanski's loose 'Apartment' trilogy. Out of the three, I would rank this in the middle with Rosemary's Baby on top and Repulsion coming in last. Like the other two movies, The Tenant takes a while to get into.
But as long as you pay attention during the introduction and first half you will be greatly benefited by the second. Polanski did a wonderful job both directing and starring in this wonderful Horror film.
The last half hour is very eerie and suspenseful--I loved it!! This should definitely be seen by any Horror fan. One of the best Horror films of the 70s.
