Review of The Tall Man (2011) by Jiarn V — 05 Jul 2012
Not a patch on the book, which is one of the best books I've ever read. Where the book is multi-faceted, spending each alternate chapter on aboriginal mythology, Queensland, and life on Palm Island, the documentary is a straight ahead look at the incident and the coronial inquest.
It's heart rending stuff, but it would be a shame for people only to see the movie and not read the book.
