Review of The Talk of the Town (1942) by Steen T — 09 Nov 2007
A fugitive from justice (Cary Grant) hides out in the house of an old friend (a very attractive Jean Arthur), who has just rented said house to a famous lawyer (Ronald Colman); how fortunate, eh? Grant and Arthur comes up with a scheme to make Colman take Grant's case.
The plot is far fetched and an odd mix of comedy and drama, but the three leads are so charming and have so much chemistry together that the movie is still a delight.
