Review of The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999) by George B — 25 Sep 2010
This seriously overlooked thriller drama by the great late master Minghella was still very gripping and breathtaking after 11 years. This, is still Matt Damon's best performance to date by amazingly adapting himself into the complexity of Ripley.
Law's star-making role also shined him out which is very hard to surpass. Patricia Highsmith would definitely be proud of it.
