OMG, this was simply amazing. I knew the premise, but I did not have the full understanding of the scope of this film. Matt Damon does a phenomenal job as Tom Ripley, who is indeed quite talented...and haunted....and damned. And the ending.....
The film is a view into the concepts of identitiy. Who we are and what makes us who we are. How sometimes even external love is not the salvation we desperately need. It simply blew me away. I can't wait to read the book on which it was based.
