Rarely does every aspect of a film come together so perfectly, and deliciously, as they do in The Talented Mr. Ripley. Anthony Minghella seems to be channeling Hitchcock in all the right ways here. And the all-star cast featuring Matt Damon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jude Law, Cate Blanchett, and Philip Seymour Hoffman deliver top performances.
It never gets old and never fails to wholly suck me in.
