Excellent, chilling thriller. Matt Damon makes a great lovelorn sociopath, Jude Law's magnetic as the object of Ripley's obsession, and everyone else (Paltrow, Davenport, Blanchett, Hoffman, just to name a few) make a terrific supporting cast.
