Review of The Tale of Despereaux (2008) by Antoinette G — 11 May 2009
This movie is well produced but kind of slow moving for younger kids. I felt like the story was a little grown up for kids too. It seemed like the makers of this film took a story with mature themes and added some visual stuff for the kids.
I would love to see a live action version written without woodland creatures in mind. I am glad I saw it, dvd price is fair, and I will likely enjoy seeing it again.
