Review of The Tale of Despereaux (2008) by K M — 02 Aug 2011

I thought The Tale of Despereaux was a cute family film. I don't really understand the negative reviews. Of course, the storyline is not necessarily original which is a bit of a problem. Still, the visuals are very impressive and well done and the casting and voice acting is great as well.

Even though the story is unoriginal, it's still executed good enough and while predictable, the movie is still entertaining. No doubt kids will love this as it's suitable for the whole family.
