I really wanted to love this movie because I love the book. The problem was that the movie didn't stay close enough to the book, and the parts of the book that didn't match the movie are the best parts.
You just don't feel any of the courage, bravery, heroism, forgiveness theme like you do in the book. It wasn't nearly as poignant. Not bad, but disappointing in places.
