The movie begins with a rat on a ship. Already we are wondering where our hero is. The tragedy all begins with soup and a misunderstanding and a death. Despereaux was adorable. There were a lot of characters and a mix of stories that all interconnected.
It just seemed a little disjointed. [to be continued].
