Review of The Tale of Despereaux (2008) by Miguel S — 21 Jun 2013
Movie clearly aimed to children but appreciated by adults. I really enjoy the whole atmosphere created in this flick. The struggle portrayed by both Despereaux and Roscuro really shines throughout most of it in ways which can be a good analogy to life.
[SPOILER ALERT] The final part when the Mouseland doesn't have afraid anymore and they all start to try mousetraps is a bit over the top but I guess they want to really pass the message.
The soup business is also a plus.
