Joseph Sargent's Taking of Pelham-One-Two-Three is a classic thriller that has barely aged a day since its release in 1974. Well worth picking up the DVD rather than watching the dodgy 2009 remake with Denzel Washington and John Travolta.
Fantastic acting from a cast of performers that include Walter Matthau, Lee Wallace, Robert Shaw, Martin Balsam, Hector Elizondo. The original is all you need to see.
