What's scarier, Alzheimer's or the supernatural? Even after watching this, I have a hard time deciding. This was a nicely modern horror movie, with modern fears and modern people.
Note: Includes Scary Human Sacrificing Indigenous People tropes, which is the main reason I am docking it a star. There really is no need in this day and age to frighten people with the specter of bloody savages; this film's setting is frightening enough without it.
