Put logic aside. It starts off as a pseudo-documentary that doesn't stay that way at all. It makes me wonder why they would put in the little alzheimer's lesson at the beginning of the movie if the point of this supposed "documentary" was to show a woman possessed. What I'm getting at is why would a documentary ever shift its focus in post editing? That's one of the things I didn't get about this POV style.

The POV shots are completely ripped off from movies like The Blair Witch Project and Rec, probably the only two horror POV movies that are worth watching. There's plenty of shaky cam, night vision shots, and grainy static which makes no sense if everything is digital to begin with. Why would there be tracking issues?

There's a scene in one of the many attics (characters even mention how ridiculous it is that this house has so many attics) where Deborah is sitting at a telephone switchboard. It's probably the only scene that will elicit scares out of people. Most of the movie though relies on LOUD NOISES to make people jump. There really isn't anything scary. It's just loud.

The plot itself is convoluted and hard to follow. How the possession works is a bit confusing and how they rid of the curse is glanced over and basically guessed at and doesn't make much sense either.

What started off as a silly, but watchable in a "I'm curious how this ends now" kind of movie that quickly devolves into a dumb confusing mess. By the end with all the loud banging, shaky cam, hard to follow editing, and silly CGI of snake people you just stop caring and are begging for it to end. Would not recommend.
