Review of The Taking of Deborah Logan (2014) by Brandon Z — 26 Nov 2014
This was an amazing original take on a found footage horror movie. It's really interesting and incredibly creepy for the entire movie. What's great is that unlike other movies, where when you get to the end the payoff isn't worth it, for this movie the make up and special effects are some of the best I've recently seen in horror films.
They really transform the actress playing the title mother with Alzheimer, at first mimicking the horror digression that I've seen myself with Alzheimer sufferers, but then going above and beyond into the supernatural.
I'd highly recommend this movie.
