Review of The Sword of Doom (1966) by Jeremy A — 30 Aug 2009
A dark, bloody and disturbing samurai classic. The photography is gorgeous black and white, the score is haunting but the true appeal is Nakadai's performance as Tsukue, a violent and nihilistic sociopath. He is vacant in a terrifying way.
