Review of The Switch (2010) by Jenna G — 02 Jul 2011
Well, I really had low expectations because, 1. Jennifer Aniston hasn't had a good movie in .. well ... a long ass time and 2. it looked predictable and lame. Well, it was predictable ... but I found myself with a smile on my face most of the time while watching the film.
I really don't know why, either. But as soon as Jason Bateman's Wally and Aniston's son, Sebastian, meet .. I really felt the emotional connection between the two of them. I think that's the strong point of the film (besides the hilarious Jeff Goldblum) all the way until the end.
The Switch certainly wasn't great, but it was a lot better than I thought it would be. And also another reason to see it, Thomas Robinson as Sebastian = brilliant.
