There seems to be a real trend of disliking any Rom-Com with Jenifer Anisten in it - in the case of The Switch - I can't really work out why. The film was warm and took the time to explore family relationships as well as the generic Boy Meets Girl.

There was also considerable amount of time devoted to exploring the idiosyncrasies and joys of human nature, which was incredible enjoyable. So maybe it's not a noble as Notting Hill, but it's a good film and worth a watch if you like the genre.
