As music docs go, The Swell Season gives us amazing access. The filmmakers manage to capture Glen and Marketa's incredible performances in a way that makes each more powerful than the last. But, the film is elevated by its at-the-table intimacy with its subjects as their relationship begins to deteriorate.
The performance at Radio City Music Hall is a show-stopper.
