A disturbing, beautiful film. The cast is made up of quiet, fantastic actors, and the visuals of the film are some of the most moving, haunting ones I've ever seen. Though adapted from a book, it wasn't like many of the "adapted for film" movies I've seen.
Stunning. Perfect. A tragedy about the grieving of a town who has suffered a terrible disaster made me feel completely different then almost any movie ever has.
