Review of The Sweet Hereafter (1997) by Lilly K — 05 May 2008
Fairly decent Canadian film here, however, for all of the Canadian stereotypes, cliches, and instances contained within, I, for the life of me, couldn't understand why everyone refrained from using the metric system.
I also thought Ian Holm's character was trite and bereft. The last 15 minutes of the film somewhat made up for a slow-paced middle of mediocrity.
