Review of The Sweeney (2012) by Myles J — 27 Sep 2012

I can't even say this film is average. Poorly directed and badly scripted. The actors just don't seem to convince you of the parts they are playing which is a shame as they should be perfect for the roles.

Anyone who remembers the original Sweeney will be very disappointed with this effort. I tried hard to like and I really wanted to but time after time I felt let down. Farcical at best it just didn't cut it.

Sad times!
