If you like your cop films and British unique taste for violence, you'll probably enjoy this movie. While Ray Winstone is one of my favourite voices in film and definitely carries an awe-inspiring presence, this wasn't really my kind of film.
I'm sure that other people will enjoy though for what it is, but my recommendation would be not to oversell something like this, otherwise people will raise their expectations too high. This explained why I was so disappointed with The Guard.
