(1978) The Swarm.
HORROR.
Based on the Arthur Herzog III novel about a swarm of mutated African killer bees roaming around the United States starting from heading to a little town in Maryland before heading to Houston. Upon watching this film, there are some major inconsistencies such as how come the people of Maryland weren't given orders to evacuate even lock themselves into their houses, or how did it come about that the bees became mutated in the first place and then choosing to swarm the US as opposed to another country. Also, if there's any reason to watch this, it would only be to see some of our most recognizable movie veterans from the likes of Michael Caine, Olivia De Havilland, Fred McMurray, Henry Fonda, Ben Johnson to Richard Widmark.
2 out of 4 stars.
