Cusak himself said he has only acted in 13 good movies. Thankfully, The Sure Thing made his list. This movie has memorable lines and brings new meaning to opposites attract. "You can't name a kid Elliott.
Elliott is a fat kid who eats paste. Nick. That's a name. Nick's a guy you can drink beer with, the kind of guy who doesn't mind if you puke in his car. Yeah, Nick." I also loved Tim Robbins as Gary Cooper - - road trip from hell.
