Review of The Sure Thing (1985) by James R — 23 Mar 2009
John Cusack stars in this one, so not one of my favorite 80's actors. He meets a girl at college and they don't like anything about each other,but keep bumping in to each other. Well he decides to go cross country to LA where a friend has a girl lined up for him to meet, so he applies for a car pool trip ride they have posted at his school and guess who else is on the trip? yup the girl .
They get put out on the way and the two try to make it back home. The movie basically is about two teenagers who despise each other talking, and trying to get back home. It gets very boring and old, not one of the better 80's movies and it found it's way from my movie collection to the trash can, as I don't think I will ever desire to sit through this one again.
I am thankful John Cusack faded with the 80's.
